About Aryana

Aryana started this conversation

I am a single mother of a 14 yr old, and on SSI.. My husband kicked me out and I need help. Some friends let me move in with them but they are struggling. They almost lost their apartment. Now it's elec, and we had lost phone and internet, although due to lying to the cable company they were able to get phone and cable back on.

Over the last few weeks I thought my brakes were going out, although it turns out its the rooter Which means I not only have to replace the brakes I have to replace those as well.

I applied for food stamps but it took almost all month to get them. I spent all of my SSI helping out around here, And now they are expecting the two kids in the house *my daughter being one of them* to get jobs and give 100 percent of what they make to the house. My daughter is 14 and if she gets a job I feel she should be able to keep at least 30 percent of what she makes.

There are five people living in a one bedroom townhouse, where no one gets time alone. There is only one person working which is the man of the house, although since he doesnt have a car, he has issues getting to work esp since now my car is not driveable. His work is as needed work, and so he doesnt work every day.

I called a few places today about moving into them, though with one the first month is free, although there is the deposits.. 385 for deposit, 285 for legal, and 80 for water *which is non refundable*

My problem is, it is going to cost me 125 give or take 25 dollars to fix my car, and I only get 606.60 a month in SSI. I am in need of any help someone can give me, Pay for the parts for my car, help pay the deposits, or help getting things we need when we move in.. Toliet papers, shampoo, body soap, pads for my daughter, cleaning supplies, and so forth.. Anything would be appericated. I have a paypal account, of if you would perfer to send directly to the landlord then I will be more then happy to give you any information you would like. As for my car, I can give you the make and model, and you would be able to order it online, and have it sent to the store where I could pick it up.

It is going to be rough for me, I know this as my rent is going to be more then half of my SSI. Although my foodstamps will go up cause then I have bills which now, the people I am staying with wrote a letter saying I dont pay anything. So I got the lowest amount allowed 220 a month.

I put all that into the house along with paying them money, them using my car and gas. Helping put odds and ends into the house, and before getting the foodstamps I paid for alot of the food that came into the house.

I have been without money for almost a week, I have two scripts I cant even get afford cause I simply dont have the money. Even though there is a total of 6 meds I only am worried about two. My pain meds, and my anixtey meds. I have tried contacting anyone and everyone I can think of, and no one can help me,cause my husband wont file separation papers so in the eyes I am still married even though we aren't living together. I am really worried about how this is affecting my daughter, she needs her own space and here she can not have that. So if anyone can offer help, or send me to someplace that can help I will be forever grateful.

Actually in the state I am in this is not the case. I have one Dr who says I am, and another who says I am not. And with being on SSI I can not just go find another DR and get that opionion. So until both Dr's agree I am on my own. I Have slowly learned through the help of some friends how to keep my blood sugar from riasing or falling to low but over all I need to keep testing once in a while, and well my husband kicked me and my daughter out *shes not his* and with living on SSI, I had to move in with a friend, and now he is being evicted cause he and his wife worked at the same place and they downsized both of their jobs. So right now, I am trying to figure out what to do with what little I was able to take out of the house before he demanded the key, so if we are evicted I wont lose everything. Thanks for the advice though. Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Reply to Aryana:---You stated you were on SSI, if so you should be on medicaid as well and medicaid pays for all your diabetic needs. You need to go to the following sites, they all have 100's of resources that could help you out of your situation. AS FOLLOWS: Soulight  WhoKnew  Elaine of TSA  Ekikaseven   and Friendshelpingfriends and finally Rosie327. Be prepared to do some digging and reading. Some of the aidmates I listed have resources listed by state so I'm sure you will be able to find what you need. If you do please thank the aidmate that you got your info from. Goodluck sheshe030
